Computer Labs
The College of Business maintains 3 instructional computer labs in the Tulloch Business Building. These labs support course instruction and provide controlled access for student work when not reserved.
- TULL 105 can accommodate up to 80 people
- TULL 317 can accommodate up to 56 people
- TULL 319, the Trading Lab, can accommodate up to 36 people and includes 18 computer workstations
TULL 105 and TULL 317 contain identical hardware and software.
TULL 319 uses a specialized configuration that includes dual monitors, higher-performance computers and 12 Bloomberg terminals. Each lab is equipped with an instructor podium.
The Trading Lab (TULL 319) remains locked outside scheduled classes or reservations. A reservation must be in place for access.
The faculty member who submits the reservation, or a designated assistant, must remain in the room for the full duration of the reservation.
At the conclusion of each session, the individual responsible must ensure that all computers are logged out, the projector is turned off, and the room is left clean and organized. If the reservation ends after 5 p.m., the door must be closed and locked upon departure.
Food, beverages and loud music are prohibited in all instructional labs.
Instructional labs may not be reserved for individual homework, personal use or informal group work. They exist for instructional purposes only.
Failure to follow these policies may lead to revoked keycard access and suspension of future reservation privileges.
Maintenance concerns or issues with equipment must be reported promptly to BusinessIT@unr.edu.
Faculty and staff may reserve any instructional lab through the Lab and Conference Room Availability Page, This page allows users to view availability and submit reservations in one location.
Graduate assistants and students must request reservations through the Lab Reservation Request form using their UNR NetID and password to log in.
Instructional courses have priority over all other uses. If an unscheduled user is in a lab when a class or approved reservation begins, the room must be vacated.
A course may not reserve more than one instructional lab during the same time block unless the request occurs during non-peak hours. Requests for exceptions must be submitted through the reservation form or emailed to BusinessIT@unr.edu. All requests are reviewed based on purpose and availability. If a reservation is no longer needed, the reserving party must email BusinessIT@unr.edu so the space can be released for other use.
When TULL 105 and TULL 317 are not reserved, students may use these spaces for printing and general computer access. Daily availability is posted outside each lab as well as in the Campus Reservation System.
If the labs are in use, students may print in the TULL 104 IT Office during posted service hours. Printing in both labs and the IT Office costs $0.15 per page.
