The number of students pursuing a minor in business administration at the University of Nevada, Reno has been climbing rapidly in recent years, and for good reason. A minor in business administration can support the skills you gain in almost any major, from journalism to engineering to social work. Moreover, a student with a business administration minor has real business knowledge on topics like budgets, organizational structure and computing systems that can be applied in the workplace. 

The minor in business administration includes courses from key areas of business, such as economics, accounting, finance, management and marketing. Graduates have a well-rounded understanding of the basics of these key fields. 

This minor program is only for students majoring in programs outside the College of Business who desire a background in general business to complement their major.
