Sontag Entrepreneurship Competition
Students from across campus are invited to compete to win $50,000 to help fund their innovative ideas in this annual competition. Participants have the opportunity to make their dream into a reality by networking with like-minded individuals and receive mentoring from local entrepreneurs.
Aerospace and Defense Academy
The Aerospace & Defense Academy, funded by the Ozmen Family Foundation, strengthens Nevada’s A&D workforce and supports small businesses through education, outreach, and career development.
LaunchNevada
LaunchNevada is an annual student pitch competition where students showcase innovative business ideas, gain feedback from industry professionals, and compete for a $500 prize while building entrepreneurial skills and connections.

The Family Business Program at the University of Nevada, Reno is a unique effort that supports the entrepreneurial spirit and family values of University students, alumni, friends, and the broader community of Northern Nevada.
