Summary

Jaycee comes to the Path to Independence program as a 2016 graduate of the University of Nevada, where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. After graduation, she began five years of employment as a Family Consultant at the Davidson Institute. Her job purview included sharing curriculum guidance with parents, teachers and school administrators when their students displayed difficulties within the traditional parameters of neurotypical student education. 

Jaycee is passionate about higher education, lifelong learning, and empowering populations that are often overlooked. She is proud to be a part of the University’s Path to Independence program and its culture. Jaycee is a Nevada native who shares her life with Joel, a graduate of the LSU School of Dentistry, and their dog Keiva. Together they love their access to hiking and skiing in the Sierra Nevada.
