Getting IT and Technology Help on Campus
College of Education & Human Development Computer Replacement
In order to standardize the process for faculty to request financial support for computer replacement, please email a funding request to your division director with the following information.
- What did IT say was wrong with the existing computer?
- What is the amount you are requesting?
- When would you need funding?
- Attach a copy of the quote you receive from email@example.com.
The director will look at their available funding sources and respond to your email with their decision. If they determine they can grant your request, they will include information on how to proceed. If they determine they cannot grant your request, they will forward your information to the Dean’s Office indicating why they cannot fund the request. The Dean’s Office will review and respond to the director with a decision on college funding. The director will then communicate this information to you and will alert you regarding how to proceed.
Please be aware financial support is usually very limited from mid‐April through June due to the end of the fiscal year.
