Summary
Vivian Bolanos is a Washoe County School District field-based special education faculty. She is a first-generation college student and is currently working on her Ph.D. in special education with an emphasis in early childhood education. She has been a part of the school district since 2013, working in elementary school classrooms in a variety of positions, from a teaching assistant, lead teacher, to an early elementary special education teacher. She also has worked as a developmental specialist with community partners of Nevada Early Intervention Services. She is interested in developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood classrooms (pre-k -2nd grade), as well as family advocacy and resources in Northern Nevada.
