Adding video to discussion board posts

  1. Login in to WebCampus (Canvas)
  2. Browse to the course and Discussion Board in your WebCampus course
  3. Click on Reply to create your post
  4. In the area that expands, click on the blue chevron/link and select Embed Kaltura Media from the drop-down menu in the Text Editor
  5. In the window that opens, either select one of the videos you have already uploaded by clicking on the Select button/link adjacent to the video or click on the Add New drop-down menu and select Media Upload to add a file or Kaltura Capture to create a new video. For the purposes of these instructions we will add a new video file.
  6. On the Upload Media window, click on the + Choose a file to upload button/link
  7. Browse to the file you would like to upload from your computer and click the Open button/link
  8. In the new Upload Media window, update the Name of the video, add a Description to the video and, if desired, any relevant Tags
  9. Click on the Save button/link to embed the video in your post.
