Coursera - Alumni access instructions

Alumni need to request access to the UNR Coursera Career Academy. Once you have received your invitation email, follow the instructions below to set up your Coursera account.

Step 1: Click on the link in your invitation email. It will bring you to a page like the one shown below. Do not click where is says “Login with University of Nevada, Reno” (this requires an active UNR NetID).

Step 2: If you have an existing Coursera account, you can use it to login. If not, click on Sign Up.

Step 3: Enter your Full Name, Email and a Password to use for Coursera. Click the Join for Free button.

Step 4: At this point you will be asked to verify your email address. Follow the instructions in the verification email you receive. (Check your junk mail if you do not receive this email.)

Step 5: After you have verified your email, if prompted, click on the “Yes, I’m Verified” button.

Step 6: Next you will be prompted to join the UNR Coursera Career Academy learning program. Click on the Join program button.

Step 7: You should now have access to all of the courses and content available in the UNR Coursera Career Academy.
