Respondus LockDown Browser and Monitor student resources

The University of Nevada, Reno has adopted Respondus LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor as our online proctoring service provider to ensure the academic integrity of online exams.

Watch the following short videos for a basic overview of what each tool is and how it works:

What will I need to take a test using LockDown Browser and/or Respondus Monitor? You will need to install LockDown Browser in order to take any exam that requires its use. Once you have installed LockDown Browser, you will need to close out of the web browser you were using, and open the LockDown Browser in order to access your test. The homework manager program or learning management system (WebCampus) in which your instructor created the exam and the device you choose to use to take the exam will determine how you install and use Lockdown Browser.
