How to mute all participants in your Zoom meeting

You can mute all of the participants in your meeting and restrict their ability to unmute themselves. This will prevent any unwanted interruptions during your Zoom meeting. You can individually Unmute students to allow them to participate or ask questions as needed. It is also possible to set all Participants to Mute on Entry when setting up your meeting.

To mute all of your Zoom meeting participants

Step 1. Once in your Zoom meeting, click on Manage Participants on the bottom toolbar in the Zoom meeting window.

Step 2. In the lower right-hand corner of the Manage Participant window, click on the Mute All button.
