Collegiate Young Farmers and Ranchers, an integral part of the Nevada Farm Bureau, are engaged members of the agricultural industry and community dedicated in developing leadership skills and professional speaking abilities to involve and influence others in agricultural advocacy, promotion and education.
The purposes of this collegiate organization are:
- To advocate for agriculture on campus, within the community, and with the Nevada Farm Bureau to educate consumers, develop leadership skills, and promote the policies, goals and purposes of the American Farm Bureau Federation.
- To bring together agricultural students on college campuses and engage them in educational activities that will enhance their future, while building awareness of the Farm Bureau organization.
- To offer opportunities for students in leadership development and citizenship engagement, enhancing career opportunities, community service and professional networking.
