Rodeo Team

The University of Nevada, Reno Rodeo team is a group of highly motivated college students wanting to:

  • encourage the development of sportsmanship and humane treatment of livestock,
  • develop citizenship and leadership values and skills by encouraging active participation of student members and board members,
  • encourage prospective college students to join the team and become an active member and participate in competition opportunities related to the sport of rodeo, and
  • promote and develop public awareness, understanding, and appreciation for the sport of rodeo as well as its heritage, lifestyle and culture and to promote the sport of rodeo on a university and state scale.
