Criteria & Application for Residence in the Tribal Student House

Criteria for Residing in House

  1. Students must be over 18 years of age and will need to sign a housing contract.
  2. Students must be declared in a College of Agriculture, Biotechnology & Natural Resources degree or minor.  UNR's course catalog (CABNR Programs).
  3. Students must be enrolled in 12 credit hours per semester (summer coursework can be included for the fall semester and wintermester coursework can be included for spring semesters). Exemptions may be granted for extenuating circumstances.
  4. Students must enroll in the Tribal Students Program and complete required trainings.
  5. Students must attend mandatory events and volunteer for at least two events per semester.
  6. Students must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA (overall cumulative GPA, not determined by semester).
  7. Student pays an annual $500 housing fee due immediately upon residing in the house
