Jenica Lynch.

Jenica Lynch, Outstanding Senior, Dietetics

Jenica demonstrated outstanding scholastic ability by maintaining excellent grades while gaining experience as a nutrition intern with Nevada Athletics. Her initiative, leadership and communication skills are impressive and will also contribute to her future success. Jenica was recently accepted to continue her studies in the College’s combined master’s and Dietetic Internship Program this fall. She aspires to become a registered dietitian nutritionist and board-certified specialist in sports dietetics, working in athletics and performance nutrition.

 

Amanda Maria Thurston.

Amanda Maria Thurston, Outstanding Master's Student, Dietetics

Amanda is an exceptional graduate student who exemplifies excellence in dietetics education. She demonstrates strong intellectual ability, diligence, and an outstanding capacity to critically evaluate nutrition evidence and translate it into real-world clinical applications. Amanda approaches learning with empathy, emotional composure and thoughtful observation. As a member of the inaugural cohort of our combined master's and Dietetic Internship Program, she has set a high standard of professionalism and will undoubtedly excel as a registered dietitian.
