Nutritional Science Specialization
The curriculum for nutritional science draws upon a variety of inter-related disciplines, including human nutrition, biology, physiology, and chemistry. In addition, the requirements for the specialization allow students the flexibility to pursue areas of personal interest that may relate to career goals. In general, graduates leave with an in-depth understanding of nutrient requirements and function, and how this knowledge can best be put to use to promote health and reduce disease risk.
