Summer session housing applications open March 1, 2022
May 15 - August 11, 2022
We will start accepting summer session housing applications from eligible students on and after Tuesday, March 1. To be eligible to live on campus over the summer, students must be enrolled in at least one summer session course AND/OR be working on-campus. Priority is provided to students who have a completed Fall 2022 housing application.
Canada Hall is designated for student summer housing.
In order to apply for summer housing, please email us at email@example.com or call us at (775) 784-1113 for our team needs to place the summer housing application on your housing portal.
The summer daily housing rate, from Friday, May 13-Thursday, August 11, is $21.20 for a double-occupancy room. Regardless of when you check in or out of your summer housing assignment, rates are calculated based on the dates of each session.
The Terms and Conditions of Occupancy are outlined in the License Agreement. Please note, for summer housing, if you cancel the License Agreement in writing prior to May 1, all fees will be refunded. After May 1, residents must give Residential Life, Housing and Food Services at least a thirty (30) day written notice prior to their departure (or cancellation) date. Residents who fail to give at least a thirty (30) day written notice will be charged an amount equal to the daily rate for up to thirty (30) days.
- Check-ins will be on the Sunday prior to the start of the summer term.
- Check-outs will be at 11 a.m. on the last day of each session (Friday for the mini and first sessions, and Thursday for second session).
Housing accommodations are only available after August 11 for students electing to live on campus for the academic year.

Current residents and Summer residents who do not sign up for uninterrupted housing must check out of their assigned space at the end of the semester (or summer session) and find their own housing options until move-in day for the following summer session or the Fall Semester.
For current on-campus residents living in the halls for the Spring 2022 semester seeking to move directly into summer housing, uninterrupted housing accommodations are available prior to the start of Mini Session at the daily rate of $21.20.
Summer residents who have completed an academic year License Agreement may also request uninterrupted housing between the end of Second Session and the beginning of the Fall Semester. Uninterrupted housing has a daily rate of $34.85. To calculate the cost, add this amount to the applicable Summer Session room rate. If you would like to request uninterrupted housing for either of these time periods you must note this in the appropriate fields on the housing application. Prior to the Fall Semester, students will be notified to move to their new rooms.
