Engineering tutoring
Engineering students can take advantage of a range of tutoring resources, from those offered by the university to tutoring sessions specifically designed for engineering students.
Engineering Tutoring Center operations
In-person tutoring
The Engineering Tutoring Center offers drop-in peer tutoring, specifically for engineering students. Check the calendar to see tutors' hours and availability. The ETC is located in SEM 133. Any questions can be emailed to gabrielatorres@unr.edu.
Remote tutoring still available
We still offer remote tutoring through Zoom. Please view the tutoring schedule for tutor and course availability and then join the Engineering Tutoring Zoom meeting room or use the Zoom ID 868 2626 9460 and password ETC to be connected with your tutor.

Want to be a tutor?
If you have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, have been a University of Nevada, Reno student for at least one year and want to get paid to tutor fellow engineering students, please fill out our online application form.
Other University Tutoring Services
FE Exam Review
The Fundamentals of Engineering Exam is a graduation requirement for many engineering majors. Student organizations often put on special review sessions during the semester where students can come and review key topics with faculty. Please watch for emails from engr@lists.unr.edu for more information.
Mathematics Center
The Math Center offers free, walk-in tutoring to all currently enrolled students. You can visit as often as you need for tutoring help.

University Tutoring Center
The University Tutoring Center offers a range of tutoring resources, including scheduled one-on-one and small group tutoring. Walk-in labs are also held throughout the semester, and no appointment is required. Finally, scheduled Supplemental Instruction sessions provide structured study atmosphere led by students who have successfully completed the course the previous semester.
