Our services

Drop-in tutoring

Free, drop-in tutoring (no appointment necessary) for any University student seeking assistance with mathematical concepts.

Homework software

Our tutors are familiar with MyMathLab and WebAssign, the online homework software used in the majority of the math/stat courses. They can help with both software issues and math concepts.

Computer lab

A 40-station computer lab with up-to-date mathematics and statistics software.

Review sessions

Midterm and final review sessions for popular classes.  Please see our review session webpage.

Graphing calculators

Graphing calculators available for rent on a semester basis.  Rental fee is paid via MyNevada in "Purchase Additional Resources."

The Math Center is hosting the University's Integration Bee!

Join us for an afternoon of math, competition, free food, prizes, and bragging rights at the University of Nevada, Reno Integration Bee!

The Integration Bee takes place on Friday, April 3 at 4:00 p.m. in the University Math Center, located in the Pennington Student Achievement Center, Room 300.

This exciting, fast-paced competition is open to undergraduate and graduate students and will feature contestants who qualify through an exam given in the Math Center. Students who want to compete must register by March 27 and complete a 45-minute qualifying exam in the Math Center before the Bee.
