Endowed professorships
Hamed Ebrahimian
Simon Wong ’79, ’84 M.S., founded Simon Wong Engineering, a structural engineering and construction-management firm in San Diego, California. He established the M. Saiid Saiidi Scholarship in 2002 and the Ted Batchman scholarship in 2008. A longtime supporter of the College of Engineering, Wong has served on the college’s advisory board and received its Scrugham Medal, recognizing distinguished alumni, in 2006.
Krishna Pagilla
Ralph E. Hoeper '51 (electrical engineering) and his wife, Rose, were pioneers in California independent telephony. This professorship was made possible through a bequest from the Rose Hoeper Estate. Established: 2019. (College of Engineering)
Shamik Sengupta

Petros Voulgaris
Victor Lockhart, a Lake Tahoe realtor, established this endowment to provide for faculty in the Aerospace Engineering Program and as a result, support Nevada’s established and growing aerospace industries. Established: 2018. (College of Engineering)
Keri Ryan
In honor of E.W. McKenzie ’43 (civil engineering) and his wife, Genevieve, this fund will provide help the College of Engineering attract and retain top faculty members in civil engineering. Established: 2019. (College of Engineering)
