Semenza Teaching Award

Was there a Reynolds School professor this year that impacted you as a student? Now is the time to recognize that person. Nominate your favorite Reynolds School professor for the Semenza Teaching Award, and let them know how important their teaching was for you.

Named after Nevada Semenza Christian, one of the first and only female graduates of the journalism school’s class in 1924, Nevada lived and worked in China, moving 38 times in her life. She remains one of the Reynolds School’s most distinguished graduates. After her death in 1990, the award was established in her honor in 2001 and is funded annually by Nevada’s sister, Evelyn English.
