Exploring the world through storytelling

Pack Global Perspectives is the Reynolds School of Journalism’s international experiential learning program, which offers students the opportunity to explore the world through faculty-led international learning experiences. From studying exotic plant and animal species and learning directly from researchers in the rainforest of Costa Rica to experiencing international sporting events that bring together cultures from all over the world in Paris, students gain firsthand experience as storytellers and deepen their understanding of communities and people all around the globe.

Learning beyond the classroom

What does it look like to cover the Olympics as a student journalist? As part of Pack Global Perspectives, Reynolds School students traveled to Paris for the 2024 summer games, reporting on athletes, fans and the cultural impact while strengthening their hands-on journalism training.
