Summary

Kyle Stanley is an Assistant Professor of Advertising and Public Relations. His teaching explores the intersections of media, culture, and communication strategy, with courses ranging from media writing to the business of entertainment media. As a researcher, he examines digital and popular culture through the lens of entertainment industries, with work on celebrity culture, award shows, influencer marketing, and the politics of fame. His scholarship has been presented at national and international conferences and has contributed to national publications. 

Beyond academia, Kyle has worked as a PR, social and brand consultant with internationally recognized brands, as well as artists and public figures across music and entertainment. He brings this industry experience into the classroom, giving students a direct line to the evolving media landscape.
