Zeynep Altinay is an assistant professor of data visualization at the Reynolds School of Journalism. Altinay pursues research in the areas of risk communication, environmental communication and visual communication. She has extensively studied public perceptions of sea level rise, coastal land loss and climate change in the dynamic Louisiana coastal landscape.
