How to submit a mainteance request

Maintenance requests should be submitted through the Housing Portal. Our maintenance team will address the issue as soon as possible. Please be prepared to provide your roommate(s) email address since we will be sending them a 24-hour notice of entry upon submission of your maintenance request.

  • There is no charge for repair of items in the room generated by normal wear and tear or component failure.
  • Repair of damage or failures caused by abuse by the resident, or a guest of the Resident will be equal to the cost incurred by the Housing Department to rectify the situation. This will include the cost of replacement materials and labor hours.
  • No maintenance work will be performed on Saturdays, Sundays, or legal holidays, unless of an emergency nature. The only requests considered an emergency are those that endanger health or property, not inconvenience.

If an emergency maintenance request is needed, contact the Community Desk Attendant or Resident Director of your building for support.

What do I do if I lock myself out of my room?

We encourage you to see if those you may live with are available to let you in. But if you lock yourself out of your room, and your roommate is not available or you don’t have a roommate, see a Community Desk Attendant for assistance. Please note that residents may get charged an excessive lock out fee after their third lock out.
