Summary

Jamie Gutual joined the College of Engineering as a lecturer in 2020. She earned her B.S. degree in electrical engineering and M.S. in biomedical engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno. Her graduate work focused on engineering education. Jamie's research also included investigating the effects of hands-on engineering activities with K-12 students, modeling sensor arrays, recording electrical properties of microfluidic devices, and simulating electromagnetic fields. At the University, Jamie coordinates E-FIT (Engineering Freshman Intensive Transition) and is passionate about K-12 outreach and the professional development of her students.
