Jean Dixon was the Reynolds School of Journalism's academic advisor from 2015 to 2021. Prior to coming to the University, Jean was an academic advisor for the College of Science at Georgia Southern University. She is a long-time photojournalist who worked at the Reno Gazette-Journal before joining the University of Nevada, Reno’s communications office as a writer/editor and photographer.
