Budgets of new grant proposals submitted during later years should meet or exceed the NIH minimum rate for the same fiscal year. **For instructional postdoctoral fellows, the minimum is $45,600.00 for new hires on or after October 1, 2022, annually with the minimum compensation increasing to $48,000 annually by FY24.
