Declaring, Changing, or Adding a Minor
Preparation for successful advising
STEP 1 - Review the program requirements for your intended minor
- Atmospheric Sciences
- Biology
- Chemistry (Analytical-Organic option)
- Chemistry (Biophysical-Organic option)
- Geography
- Geology
- Geophysics
- Hydrogeology
- Mathematics
- Mining Engineering
- Physics
STEP 2- Download and complete the Declaration/Change of Minor/Certificate form. Contact the appropriate faculty advisor for the department offering the minor for advising and to get the required signature.
STEP 3 - Submit the completed and signed form to the Office of Admissions & Records (2nd floor - FSSB) for processing.
If you are interested in REMOVING a minor offered by the College of Science, download and complete the Declaration/Change of Minor/Certificate form and submit it directly to the Office of Admissions & Records (2nd floor - FSSB) for processing; a signature from an advisor or the Dean's office is not required.
