COLLEGE OF SCIENCE ADVISING

Core math advisors

The Silver Core Curriculum information is the foundation for undergraduate education at the University of Nevada, Reno. Every student must complete at least 3 units of an approved Quantitative Reasoning course. The ability to apply content from prerequisite courses is critical for student success in subsequent Quantitative Reasoning courses (CO2). Please schedule a meeting with one of our Core Advisors by email for matters related to the University's Silver Core general education requirements.

Faculty advising

All Mathematics & Statistics majors and minors should consult a faculty advisor on issues such as course selection.  When scheduling an appointment with your advisor, please provide days/times that you are available to meet to expedite the process.
