Summary

Savannah Walker is a Doctoral Psychology Intern from Spalding University’s Clinical Psychology PsyD Program located in Louisville, Kentucky. She identifies as a white, bisexual, able-bodied, cisgender woman who grew up in the Mid-west. Savannah has experience providing clinical services in a community mental health center, an at-risk youth shelter, a private practice, and in a variety of school environments. Savannah has worked with teens and adults of various backgrounds and identities with a variety of struggles, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, emotional/behavioral dysregulation, and varying trauma histories.  Savannah takes a psychodynamic and interpersonal approach to her work, with an additional emphasis on values work. Savannah is dedicated to cultural humility and to creating a safe, collaborative therapeutic experience that allows space for exploration and healing. Empowering clients, engaging in advocacy, and continuing to grow as a human are important values to Savannah and are key in her professional identity. In her free time, Savannah enjoys playing sand volleyball, spending time with friends, volunteering, and trying new foods.
