Book a same-day session
Due to the increased need for more immediate and solution-focused support at the end of the semester, starting April 7, 2025, Counseling Services will be offering students single-session appointments. We do not schedule same-day sessions for future dates. The scheduling system opens at 7:30 a.m. Monday-Friday. Accessing the system early will help ensure appointment availability to accommodate your schedule. Students can also call our front desk starting at 8 a.m. for assistance with booking a same-day session.
What is a same-day single session?
Same-day single-session appointments are typically 40-50 minutes. These appointments can be utilized for any solution-focused support either non-crisis or crisis. Single-session appointments generally do not lead to ongoing care. During your appointment, you and your counselor will work to identify immediate needs and provide resources, skills, and support. If further support is needed, the counselor will discuss with you options for the next steps.
We have limited daily same-day sessions, so students should contact us early on a day that works well for them. Due to our heightened demand for service, appointments fill up quickly. Please do not schedule an appointment on behalf of another person.
