Summary

Aimee Lynne-Hirschowitz joined the Refugee Resettlement team as a Case Aide during the crisis in Afghanistan and helped NNIC resettle more than 120 Afghan refugees. Her interpersonal skills, empathy and creativity combined with her life experience and sincere desire to improve the refugee journey gives Aimee the necessary optimism to believe that NNIC can be the best source of strength and empowerment for new Nevadans.

Aimee has a deep, personal understanding of the complexities and nuances at play in the lives of refugees and asylum seekers. As a Case Manager, Aimee draws on her extensive career experience (including teaching college level Fine Art, owning and operating her own business and working as a high-level administrative assistant) to help the R&P program move forward in a direction that is best for our clients while maintaining a logical structure and order for systems and operations. Aimee received a broad education focused on the Arts and Humanities, which fostered creative problem solving and taught her to value and prioritize man’s ability to cultivate and improve society and craft community for the common good.
