Changes to Special Collections and University Archives hours

Beginning Jan. 27, the University Libraries' Special Collections and University Archives Department will be available to researchers and users on Monday's by appointment only. Tuesday through Friday hours remain the same, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Users and researchers are welcome to drop-in anytime Tuesday through Friday.

"Spaces in Sequence: A Look at the Book as a Medium" set for Friday, July 12

Black Rock Press and the University Libraries celebrate book arts during Artown

These images are authentic Chinese hand colored paper cuts. The main cutting tools are scissors or an engraving knife used on very thin rice paper. The title font is Girdon and the text font is Lucida Casual. The text is print by Giclee. The cream paper is Ogura Chine, the red and black paper is Eames Diffused. The piano hinged binding is made with Chinese bamboo skewers.
