About the Seneca C. and Mary B. Weeks Endowed Professorship

Mary Lea Benson Weeks was a 1902 State Normal School graduate from the University. She married miner and cattle rancher, Seneca Weeks, in 1907. She left an estate gift to the University to establish a chair in the basic sciences. Established: 1983. (College of Science)
