Summary
Hilary received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. She has conducted research in a variety of areas, including exploring the experiences, adjustment challenges and strengths of individuals who have grown up among multiple cultures, self-destructive behaviors, and resilience/hardiness. Hilary's professional and clinical interests include multicultural issues, relational concerns, trauma, spirituality/faith, anxiety and identity formation. She approaches therapy from an interpersonal stance and integrates aspects of dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness techniques and emotionally focused therapy. Hilary hopes to walk with students as they develop a deeper understanding of themselves and recognize how their past experiences influence their relationships to those around them and themselves. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as hiking and exercising.
