Summary
Alyson is the NSHE Specialist I – Clinical Operations Manager for Counseling Services. She oversees business and clinical operations for the department and works alongside the Clinical Director to ensure consistent access for university students to our clinical services. Alyson has been a part of Counseling Services since 2014.
Alyson has lived in the Reno area for three decades and earned her undergraduate (Bachelor of Arts, Social Science) from Great Basin College in Elko, NV and graduate (Master of Arts, Higher Education Administration) from the University of Nevada, Reno. Much of Alyson’s undergraduate and graduate research work has been dedicated to increasing access of higher education to non-traditional student populations and would like to see increased programming to this group brought to UNR.
One of Alyson’s favorite things about working on a university campus is witnessing the progression and success of thousands of college students each year through their hard work and dedication to education.
