Summary
Jeff Mortensen joined the University of Nevada, Reno after completing his Ph.D. at the University of California, Davis in 1993. He has served as the Math Center Director from fall 2000 to spring 2005 and the Core Mathematics Director from fall 2007 to spring 2008. He also served as Interim Department Chair from spring 2017 through June 2018. His research interests include Analysis, Fractional Calculus, and Differential Equations. He has also taught a wide variety of classes in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
