Summary

My name is Aqueelah Thompson and I am a first-generation, University of Nevada, Reno alumna. I am from California, and during my time at the University, I was a member of the women's basketball team. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Psychology and my master's degree in educational leadership, with an emphasis in higher education administration. I have spent my professional career serving students at the University of Nevada, Reno from various populations such as athletics, undeclared, and the College of Liberal Arts. In my current role as the Senior Coordinator of Student Engagement & Experiential Learning, I assist liberal arts students with their transition to college and career preparation. The most rewarding part of my job is working to support students on their journey to achieve their goals.

I enjoy spending my time with my family, traveling, working out, taking naps, and cooking/baking.
