All-access advising: Aug. 24 - Sept. 4, 2026
To support all students during the first two weeks of the Fall semester, our office will advise exclusively through all-access drop-in hours; appointments will not be scheduled during this time. Advising will be offered in person, check in at Lincoln Hall 305, and via Zoom, on the following days and times:
Monday - Friday
9-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-4 p.m.
If you require accommodations, please let us know.
Express advising or individual appointments: Sept. 10 - Dec. 11, 2026
For the rest of the semester, we offer two types of advising: Express drop-in advising or individual appointments. Express drop-in sessions operate on a first-come, first-served basis and slots may fill up before the session ends. Meetings are limited to 15 minutes with an advisor.
Express drop-in advising sessions are available regularly throughout the semester; see schedule in the table below.
These sessions are designed to facilitate quick advising interactions, including:
- Assistance with schedule planning
- Graduation requirement checks
- Declaring minors
- Other brief advising queries
Express drop-in advising is not suitable for complex advising issues that cannot be addressed within 15 minutes.
Students who drop in with more extensive advising needs will be asked to schedule a follow-up appointment.
Express drop-in advising is not available to students with advising holds on their accounts.
Students with advising holds must schedule a regular appointment to have their holds cleared before being eligible for express drop-in sessions.
