Summary
I graduated with a B.S. in Geology from California State University, Northridge in 2024. There, I worked as a laboratory assistant, volunteered as the geology club president, graduated with honors, and I was awarded with Outstanding Senior Award. I had the privilege of participating in a summer long geochronology internship at University of California, Santa Barbara.
At University of Nevada, Reno, I am working with Dr. Andrew Zuza pursuing a M.S. in Geology. I am focusing on mapping and thermometry of the Luning-fencemaker fold-thrust belt, a Middle-Late Jurassic fold-thrust belt in the Western U.S. I aim to better understand how the Mesozoic basin acquired peak temperatures using Raman Spectroscopy of Carbonaceous Material thermometry and conducting 1:24,000 scale geologic and structural mapping.
