Summary
My research at the University of Nevada, Reno focuses on investigating magmatic mixing events. Specifically, I am working together with Dr. Philipp Ruprecht and Dr. Michael Gardner (UC Davis) on understanding the behaviour of mafic magmatic enclaves during magmatic recharge events.
For my master's thesis I investigated free crystal growth by implementing a 2D phase-field model.
