Summary
Always being interested in earth sciences from an early age, I knew I was bound for a career that placed me outside. I eventually landed in geology halfway through my undergrad and gained an interest in the structural kinematics of fault systems. After doing some undergrad research on the relationship between fault systems and thermal rheology in the upper crust, I decided to go into geothermal after obtaining my bachelor’s. Working for 2.5 years in the industry, I was able to engage in the exploration, development, and management of several geothermal projects, being fortunate enough to have my "boots on the ground" in world-famous systems like The Geysers and Salton Sea. I have now returned to my alma mater with great ambitions, pursuing my master’s researching the structural constraints of hidden/blind geothermal systems in the Great Basin to improve upon geothermal exploration techniques worldwide. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, paddleboarding, and snow-shoeing/skiing!
