Ayowole Fifo

M.S. in Geology

Summary

I hold a B.S. degree in 2018 from Adekunle Ajasin University, Nigeria. Before my graduation, I worked as a Biostratigraphy Intern at Crystal Age Limited, Nigeria (An oil consulting firm), where I was involved in the preparation and microfossils analysis of ditch cuttings from the Niger Delta basin for biozonation and paleoenvironmental interpretation. I took a sabbatical year after graduation working as a Mathematics instructor for high school students and as a volunteer researcher. Under the mentorship of Professor Paula Noble, I will be researching Summit Lake diatoms and Paleolimnology, talking about how diatoms can help access the lake's past ecological and environmental conditions. Outside of geology, I enjoyed listening to music and playing football.
