Transfer Bridge Scholarship

Starting fall 2026, TMCC associate degree graduates who received the TMCC Transfer Bridge Scholarship may be eligible for an additional $1,000 per semester — up to four consecutive semesters — at the University of Nevada, Reno. The scholarship is valued at $2,000 per year with a total value of $4,000. 

Award expires after four consecutive semesters from matriculation term or graduation, if sooner.

Transfer Bridge Scholarship requirements

• Be a first-time degree-seeking student at the University of Nevada, Reno
• Be a current TMCC student graduating with an associate degree, beginning May 2026
• Have received the TMCC Transfer Bridge Scholarship
• Enroll in a minimum of 15 credits per semester at the University of Nevada, Reno
• Enroll in the University of Nevada, Reno the semester immediately following TMCC graduation, starting Fall 2026

Requirements to maintain the Transfer Bridge Scholarship

• Meet Federal Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy requirements
• Students who do not meet the minimum 15 credit requirement each semester will lose eligibility permanently unless there is an approved 15-to-Finish exception on file for that specific semester. In order to be considered, this form must be submitted by the 100% refund deadline each semester.
