Five reasons to attend Ignite Integrity week events
An in-depth understanding of integrity creates an awareness that is vital for students and professionals. Here are a few reasons we encourage you to attend:
- Learn from professionals – faculty and professionals from across campus will lead sessions.
- Understand integrity and dishonesty – sessions will help you better understand how to maintain honesty and integrity in your writing, research and teaching.
- Find valuable resources – learn more about academic integrity resources on campus.
- Share your experience – have you ever found yourself in a situation where you weren’t sure how to proceed? Panel discussion sessions provide a forum where facilitators and participants will bring their own experiences to the discussion.
- Learn something new – as technology and access to information changes, so do the rules of what constitutes academic dishonesty. Sessions will be available to discuss the ever changing forms of accessing information and research.
Ignite Integrity Week is organized by Research Integrity & Security, University Libraries, The Multicultural Center, University Writing and Speaking Center and the Graduate School.
