Summary

Rebekah M. Devine (they/she) is a white, queer writer residing in Reno, Nevada. Their work has appeared or is forthcoming in The Hunger Journal, P-QUEUE, Rust and Moth, and Rejection Letters, among others. As a religious trauma survivor, Rebekah thinks and writes a good deal about how religion shapes desire, identity, and memory. She is particularly interested in the influence of American evangelicalism on notions of gender, sexuality, and race. Their current working projects include a multi-genre collection of pieces that excavate and reclaim the Bible’s fem and queer voices, and a short novel, Tables to Unknown Gods.
