Join us for a walk-though of the Innevation Center and learn about what we have to offer our members. We’ve organized these video tours by the type of space that you might be looking for, whether that’s a place to hold meetings or an event, an area to operate your business, or do product prototyping.

Introduction to the Innevation Center

Our 25,000 square foot, 4-story building in downtown Reno provides a co-working space, office space, event facilities, meeting rooms, and a top-tier Makerspace. We are open to local businesses, entrepreneurs, and the community, alongside students, faculty, and staff at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Conference rooms

We have a variety of reservable rooms on our first and second floors for meeting or individual use. With capabilities including audiovisual systems, wireless screen casting, white boards and conference phones, we have the right room for your next meeting, conference call or solo video call. Reserve a conference room at the Innevation Center for your next meeting!

Concept Café

Our largest meeting space is equipped with many features that will make your next event special. From comfortable furniture, to advanced technical features, to catering capabilities and flexible presentation tools, the Concept Café has what you need.

Co-working & office space

Overlooking the beautiful Reno downtown area, the co-working space is the perfect spot for collaboration with local entrepreneurs and fellow team members. The co-working space is equipped with two soundproof office phone booths, a kitchenette and open work tables. Throughout the Innevation Center, cubicle and office space is also available for rent.

The Makerspace

The Makerspace provides access to a wide range of equipment, software and manufacturing technologies to transform your ideas into reality. With equipment including desktop and industrial FDM 3D printers, SLA 3D printers, laser cutting, manual and CNC machining, large format printing, vinyl cutting, electronic workstation, textile lab and a podcasting studio, we provide many of the tools and training needed to create a prototype or fuel a hobby. Alongside our equipment, we provide software such as Solidworks CAD modeling, Corel Draw and Adobe Suite. The Makerspace Woodshop offers a laser cutter, electrical engineering station, and an array of high-quality woodworking machines and equipment including a CNC router, table saw and benchtop planar.

Southside Studio

The Southside Studio is an extension of the Innevation Center and home to the K-12 Robotics Center | University of Nevada, Reno. The Southside Studio provides additional space to support Innevation Center companies and to offer resources to broaden K-12 robotics participation and STEM education.

Floor 0 – Innevation Center Makerspace

Prototyping Machine Shop
Computer Numeric Control (CNC) tools are available in this room, along with a laser cutter, CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, drill press and other prototyping tools.
Design Lab
This room houses over seven 3D printers and six computer design stations, plus a high powered rendering station.
Beta Space
In this room, work spaces and additional specialty labs are available to bring your designs and concepts into reality. Makers will find rentable work stations, an electronics lab, a textile lab, a large format printer, a vinyl cutter, a spray paint booth, an exhaust hood, and sheet metal equipment to create working prototypes.
Podcasting Studio
Utilize our high-end audio recording equipment to make your very own podcast or record a professional interview!
Decompression Chamber
Leonardo da Vinci was the first to say that even geniuses need to step away from the projects from time to time, to catch a breath and gain perspective. Located in the Makerspace, this room is the ideal spot for that process to happen. Enjoy a casual meeting space free of technology and cell reception.

Floor 1 – Welcome to the Innevation Center!

Welcome Center
University student workers will greet you as you walk in the door. The Innevation Center front desk staff will help guide you with information on room reservations, membership options, the Makerspace, and business development and networking opportunities at the Innevation Center.
Concept Cafe
This is the main event space of the Innevation Center. Rent this space for your next business workshop, seminar, lunch-and-learn or board meeting and enjoy the benefits of a modular space with AV capabilities and a professional setting.
Ideation Conference Room
This conference room provides a meeting space for up to eight innovators and is outfitted with a screen for wireless presenting. We encourage the use of our large windows as an innovative whiteboards-alternative.
Venture Lounge
This room is a comfortable space for small group discussions. The room has a conference table that seats six, a large white board and a telephone.
Phone rooms
For private phone and video calls, phone rooms are located on the first and second floors. These rooms are available on a first come first served basis and are not reservable.

Floor 2 – Co-working and office space

Stage 3
This is our main co-working space, with both co-working and fixed desk space. Enjoy city views, coffee on site, soundproof phone booths and a lounging area in this members only space. Why STAGE 3? The Innevation Center continues the vision of an intrastate effort to break down silos and work together to make Nevada a leader in the new innevation economy. STAGE 1 & STAGE 2 are located in Innevation Las Vegas and have been showcasing collaborative events since 2011. STAGE 3 will now drive state-wide collaboration to a new level. #lovenevada
Summit Conference Room
This is our largest conference room that seats up to twelve innovators and is fully outfitted with a whiteboard wall, presentation podium, two screens and a video conferencing system. Enjoy views of Mount Rose in this south-side conference area on our second floor.
Venture Row
A limited number of private offices are available at the Innevation Center for founders needing an added layer of privacy for their business. Private offices are by request and interview only and subject to availability; visit the Memberships page or contact icadmins@unr.edu for more information.
Phone rooms
For private phone and video calls, phone rooms are located on the first and second floors. These rooms are available on a first come first served basis and are not reservable.

A statewide program that provides Nevada manufacturers with expert resources and programs to improve their processes, increase efficiencies and productivity in order to make them globally competitive and assume a leadership role in their respective sectors.
