Our trained peer Career Mentors can support undergraduate students, graduate students and alumni with:

IBIS World

BIS includes surveys of over 1,000 industries, covering more than 700 major and many specialized categories. Reports detail industry segments, market characteristics, conditions, key company profiles and outlooks. Access is provided by University Libraries.

My Next Move

My Next Move is an interactive tool for students to learn more about their career options. My Next Move has information from over 900 different careers, which includes responsibilities, skills, salary information and more.

Occupational Outlook Handbook

The Occupational Outlook Handbook from the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics provides extensive information on hundreds of different job roles in the country.

O'Net Interest Profiler

The O*Net Interest Profiler can help you find out what your interests are and how they relate to the world of work. You can find out what you like to do. This platform can help you decide what kinds of careers you may want to explore.

Beyond Graduate School is a one-of-a-kind, online platform that helps master’s students make the most out of their investment and build their careers. Beyond the Professoriate

Beyond the Professoriate’s Career Training Platform is an online professional development tool where doctoral students and postdocs can explore career options and learn job search strategies. Nevada Money Mentors offer free 1-on-1 confidential financial coaching sessions. 1-hour coaching appointments are made available both virtually and in person, addressing how to negotiate a salary and how to set up a budget that works with your lifestyle.
