Summary

Madalyn is a second-year Master of Public Health student specializing in Social and Behavioral Health. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Nevada, Reno in Public Health and a minor in Addiction Treatment Services in May 2021. Madalyn currently works as a Graduate Research Assistant investigating Nevada opioid policies, as well as a Graduate Student Worker for UNR’s collegiate recovery community, NRAP. In addition, Madalyn serves as Co-Chairwoman for the Northern Nevada Harm Reduction Alliance. Madalyn has vested interest in creating a safe space for her peers and is looking forward to advocating for students, faculty, and the university as a whole.
