Advising Staff Outside of the College of Education

The College of Education Advisement Center provides support and guidance for students in the College of Education. Academic advisors are well versed in campus policy, degree requirements, and able to assist students with reaching their career goals. The professional advisement staff assists students with undergraduate course selection, teacher education application submission, and internship and graduation checks.

Advisement Center Mission

The mission of academic advising at the University of Nevada, Reno is to assist each student in developing and implementing an academic plan designed to meet his/her educational, career, and life goals.  The advising process is one of shared responsibility between students and advisors.

The role of an academic advisor is to inform and assist students. Ultimately, it is the student's responsibility to be knowledgeable of their degree requirements and select appropriate courses to meet their goals
